Understanding

I have always felt that relationships are the most complex thing to take care of. But with time, I have realized that the crux of every relationship is "Understanding". If you understand the other person well, the relationship works great. May it be a Father-Daughter, your sibling, your friend, your boss, if you can understand or even try to understand what the other person is trying to tell or is doing, you have at least put a little bit from your side to that relationship. Do not always try to judge the other person.

My relationships over time have evolved beautifully with number of people, family + friends. And I would give full credit to the word "Understanding", understanding from their side and from my side. Some of those relationships have seen the worst times when there were arguments, cold wars, no talks, etc. but some of them still are the best ones that I treasure.

If you want to make something work, try to Understand!

P.S. - And as I write this, I also want to mention that I feel India currently has the best batting tail. Harbhajan and Zaheer have pull of the team a hell lot of time! And Zaheer has just hit 4 fours in a row to O'Brien in the India - New Zealand third Test match.

Rightly said, Understanding is essence of any Relationship..

n Yeah, we really have good Batting Tail..I remember there are numerous occasions when they pulled team out of Trouble :)

Hi cricket buff! :) It is not about having the best tail, but playing as a team for one another. They have started doing it. Reminiscent of Aussies in their prime.

@Mayur - Relative to?
@Nikhil - :). Dravid has highest no. of catches now! Congrats!
@Saran - Agreed, but if they cant bat well, or if they bat like Chris Martin (;)), they cant make runs.:). Zaheer and Harbhajan are super hitters!

@Poonam - Yeah true. But, these days they practice batting in the nets..Similar to what Aussies did..Evone practised batting..

See ya!

Relative to one's intelligence, experience, exposure and needs. sometimes being rich or beautiful or charming replaces the need of understanding :) sometimes when both the people are stupid, they think they understand each other and have a great relationship, sometimes people don't have choices and they pretend to understand, sometimes one person in the relationship tries too hard to understand the other, gets disappointed and screws up the relationship. phewww, juz some examples. :) I am not denying your view, but it's too simplistic.

@Mayur - You lost my point. :). Its just any other relationship, and just not that lovie-dovie one. And its not even necessary that its a life long relationship, just any other person with whom you share your everyday.

I was not talking about lovie-dovie relationships either :) The points I mentioned were just examples applicable to any other kind of relationship too (except beautiful one, may be). As I told you, I am not denying you, but understanding is a lot more complicated term. Maybe we are talking in different dimensions and we should call it off :) ..
